Living permanently aboard the Sailing Vessel Era, Roux, the captain, combines maritime expertise with engineering skills, ensuring smooth sailing and managing all onboard systems. Meanwhile, Christine, the first mate and chef, brings South African flavors to the seas, baking fresh bread and crafting delightful seafood experiences through fishing and occasional lobster dives.
This dynamic couple embodies self-sufficiency, doing almost everything themselves, from yacht maintenance to creating hearty meals. What makes them truly special is their love for sharing maritime adventures.
