The Shapely Island

First things first, let's talk about the island's curvaceous allure. Virgin Gorda got its name from Christopher Columbus, who, in 1493, gazed upon its voluptuous shape and thought, "That's one plump virgin."

The island has been turning heads ever since, enticing travelers with its lush landscapes and a coastline that's anything but shy. Virgin Gorda, meaning "Fat Virgin" in Spanish, is the third-largest of the British Virgin Islands.

The Sweet That Is Bitter End

Ah, the Bitter End on Virgin Gorda, with palm trees swaying in the Caribbean breeze, luxury yachts bobbing in the mooring area, and the sun painting the sky with hues of orange and pink as it bids adieu for the day. But don't let the name fool you; there's nothing bitter about this paradise!

Whether you're sipping on a fruity cocktail at the bar, indulging in freshly caught seafood at the restaurant, or simply lounging on the pristine beaches, every moment at the Bitter End is just sweet.

A unique feature of Bitter End is Jim with his dog Drake on his dinghy Rumrunner. Jim takes orders for and delivers frozen drinks to the yachts in the bay and his Rumrunner cocktail is a secret Caribbean delight.
