Meet Andre and Alison Stroebel, a dynamic duo hailing from the captivating shores of South Africa, where they've shared 34 years of blissful marriage. Their passion for the ocean knows no bounds—whether sailing upon it, swimming within its depths, or exploring beneath its surface.
Their maritime journey began long before exchanging vows, navigating the waves on Hobie Cats in friendly races. As their love for sailing burgeoned, they graduated to larger catamarans, braving the tempestuous waters of both the east and west coasts of South Africa.
In 2011, their adventurous spirit led them to embark on the exhilarating Cape Town to Rio de Janeiro Yacht Race aboard their beloved catamaran, Rat Catcher. Their transatlantic voyage culminated in an impressive second-place finish in their class, marking a milestone in their seafaring adventures.
Since then, Andre and Alison have been enraptured by the allure of the Caribbean, where they've embarked on countless cruising escapades. Now, they eagerly await the opportunity to impart their wealth of experiences upon fellow sea enthusiasts like you.
